These terms govern your use of the LandlordsDocs website and related services operated by Perimeter Software Limited (“we”, “us”), trading as LandlordsDocs, registered in England & Wales (company no. 17194761).

Not legal advice. Content, templates and tools on the Site are provided for general information and administrative convenience only. They do not constitute legal, tax or regulatory advice. You are responsible for ensuring any document meets your situation and current law; consider instructing a solicitor or adviser where appropriate.

Acceptance

By using the Site, joining our email waitlist, or using our tools (including linked products such as the Form 4A generator), you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.

Eligibility & acceptable use

You must use the Site lawfully and only for purposes related to lawful private renting in the United Kingdom (or other uses we expressly permit). You must not attempt to disrupt the Site, scrape it in a way that impairs service, probe for vulnerabilities without authorisation, or use it to send spam or misleading communications.

Waitlist & communications

When you submit your email, you agree that we may contact you about LandlordsDocs products and launches. You can opt out of non-essential messages using the instructions in those emails or by writing to hello@landlordsdocs.co.uk.

Intellectual property

Branding, text, layout, software and document structures on the Site are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive licence to use the Site for personal or internal business use in line with these terms. You may not copy substantial parts of the Site to compete with us or redistribute our materials without permission.

Third-party sites

The Site may link to third-party services (for example rentnotice.co.uk). Their terms and privacy policies apply to your use of those services.

Disclaimer

The Site and tools are provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Legislation may give you mandatory rights that cannot be excluded; nothing in these terms limits those rights.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, consequential or special loss arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content. Our total liability arising out of these terms in any twelve-month period is limited to £100 or the amount you paid us for the specific paid service giving rise to the claim in that period, whichever is greater (the Site waitlist itself is free).

Changes & availability

We may change the Site, these terms or our offerings at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where law allows. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any non-waivable rights you have as a consumer.
